Journal o f Volcanology and Seismology i s an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes theoretical and experime ntal studies, communications, and report s on volcanic, seismic, geodynamic, and magmatic processes occurring in the area s of island arcs and other active region s of the Earth. In particular, the journ al looks at present-day land and submari ne volcanic activity; Neogene–Quat ernary volcanism; mechanisms of plutonic activity; the geochemistry of volcanic and postvolcanic processes; geothermal s ystems in volcanic regions; and seismolo gical monitoring. In addition, the journ al surveys earthquakes, volcanic eruptio ns, and techniques for predicting them. The journal welcomes manuscripts from al l countries.
